Right, down to business...

i saw something that amused me today..

i was delivering to a new builders merchants yard in leicester....

i was unloading my bricks with my hiab, and the old muslim bloke was whizzing round on the forklift moving them.

as i'd got about 3/4 of them off, suddenly it dawned on me...

they had opened the yard gates that morning, and pushed them right round fully open onto the fence... then they had offloaded 2 artic loads of ton bags of sand & put them in 2 neat stacks right in front of the gate, then my bricks... so 80 odd tons of stuff were plonked in front of the gate....i decided that it wasn't my place to say anything and as i drove off at 4:30 i was wondering just when they'd realise that they couldn't shut the gate & what would hit the fan when they did.... i reckon the old lad won't have made friday prayers tonight......

I was happy today when i went for my hospital appointment regarding three painful extractions i needed doing (two of which ive already had to have done in emergency situations at my dentist due to pain) and the dentist there informed me that ive not actually got dry socket on my second extraction, its just (in laymans terms) the stand-in who took my second tooth out may aswell have used a jcb to take it out and left it a right mess with exposed bone in my jaw, but he has cleaned it up and its closed a little more and feels ten times better and i now have bugger all pain!!

Bearing in mind ive had epic toothache/pain, ear, head and eye-ache caused by this, and havent been sleeping pretty much at all for nearly two months now, im over the fecking moon :d

you could see the jaw bone in my birds dry socket aswell, she was upstairs for ages digging at it thinking it was food in there, until she asked me to have a look and i realized what it was right away :yuck:

Out in Cardiff at night til late then a couple of hours sleep then drive out to stage(Designated driver) and cooked breakfast on the gas stove out the back of the van whilst the gravel cars go through before it all kicked off. Ford's gravel cars were awesome, caged up white Volvo T5's that sounded great. Access to the service area and the drivers.

spud, the trouble is that it got pressed into daily use at very short notice, and i really need to sort a lot of stuff out on it. some of the electrics & fuel system are a bit of a lash up, the engine really needs taking out so i can tidy some stuff up, and there are a couple of rust spots that need nipping in the bud... its a bit impossible to sort them when you are jumping in it at 4:30am to drive to the yard & then maybe don't see it for 3 or 4 days at a time..

anyway, i finally hit the jackpot on bits for the corsa engine, a yard in the next town had the right engine in, so i robbed it quite a bit...

just where did you get that version of religion from???

if they were door knocking, then fair enough, you can tell them the way to go. i'm not religious at all. my mrs is, and the kids go too.. the church of england spends time teaching people to be good neighbours & be kind to others, and live a good life, so i don't mind if my kids are polite because of it.. remember, the victorians decided that you were a child until 16... most places in the world have a lower age...

which is why that teacher took that 15 year old girl to france, cos you can do a 15 year old girl in france as much as you want....

Haha. I got the dent earlier in the day :/

But did make me laugh when I parked there... Shame none of the officers came out to move one, that would've made for an interesting conversation haha

£4.90 a hour, have to use your own car (inc petrol etc), no sick pay, no holiday pay, have to use your own phone, have to pay for your own crb check (£44), have to do a weeks training unpaid

Seen the e type episode when it was on. Major lolz at the idiot smacking it off the engine ( all for tv I imagine ). Looked good up until the 1990s sunroof was spotted.... Mess. Seen the last 2 minutes of the 911 episode , looked really horrible with that silly bumper and RAC paint.

Limp - I you have an Xbox there is a 5 on demand thing on it, or I'd assume its on the interwebz somewhere too.

At least they don't spray with rattle cans like Edd China's Capri !

Not a bad show, Beetle Crisis on Quest isn't bad either. ( a lot less 'for tv' bullshlt in it )

When Edd and Mike were buying and *cough* restoring on a grand, there was some quality bodging. I remember the Capri. Edd blaming the heat for ruining the lacquer. Love the lass that bought it mind. I surely would...

Beetle and Campervan Crisis are good I agree, only one of the two Beetles is though. That 70's 1302? thing they barry up just makes me laugh.

I also thought the Splitty was named 'Dipsy' because it had been to Keith Robinsons favourite company, didn't think it would have been on the reg. (Hadn't seen the prog at this point)

I recorded another car thing on Nat Geo tonight, something where two teams in the UK break a car and sell the parts lol Scoobies/Evo's etc so may be half decent.

Got a new job! So ordered my new lease car today! Been driving a Skoda Superb Twindoor for the last 2,5 years, great car with lots of space for Nova parts and kiddos, so I ordered another one! This time it's going to be a candy white Superb Combi. :d:d

Collecting it within in two weeks as the exact one I wanted was already in stock within the Netherlands:

With some 18 inch Themisto wheels it will be looking like this:

This week they will be fitting a custom made 'Benn stylee' interior, black leather with perforated centers and silver stitching, like this:

there is a pub in tottenham were me and my brothers have been going for years, there has always been this one guy there that never liked us for what ever reason, he gives it large to everyone about how hard he is blar blar blar even tried calling me and my brothers out side a few times  we always left it out of respect to the landlady and landlord that we know really well and get on with, plus we dont go out drinking looking for fights thats :gay:

well to cut a long story short he tried to call out my younger brother last night and finally got what he wanted after god knows how many years drinking there, my brother went outside with him and smashed him to bits busted nose split lip and a nasty gash on his head, he is in a right state, i know this shouldnt make me happy but it just does its been a long time coming lol
