Like it or not the quality of work in the polo was impressive!
It was a 5 door hatch that had been chopped and the doors welded together to open as one. The exterior finish looked factory and flawless!

Went to look at a Nova to errrr maybe purchase....
.... I bloody hate waking up from dreams :(
An evo untertook my van and it had black smoke coming out the exhaust lol
about 10 years ago, i was driving a crew of lads down the m42 in heavy traffic to a job in redditch.. an evo with no plates went past up the hard shoulder doing the wrong side of 120.... we wondered what was occuring... then the next day, timmy, our resident racing driver(we sponsored him in stock hatch) & labourer was back at work after his day off to go to the trade day at the autosport international show..and he was merrily telling us about someone nicking a brand new zero mile evo from the loading bay.....
Finding a nova i like and is within my budget :)
was it free?
nope unfortunately not. (it's bloody miles away though, need to post that bit in the whats annoyed you thread lol)
is it road legal?? where is it (roughly so not bugger gets there 1st)??? d'ya need a road trip to fetch it?
Spending all day listening to how much one of my work colleagues liked the Avensis she had been given as a hire car, then covering it in soot as it followed me out the car park at work :)

security guard collared her and was walking towards the door when i walked up, apologised, and picked her up. "you should tie her up more securely mate" he says. "she was in the sodding car" replies I, "mini houdini :)"

After not really being that interested in the Olympics, I've been sat here for a little while watching the Cycling at the Velodrome with Amber next to me. Really exciting stuff :)
Amber has learnt to cheer on the folks with red hats on :) Also got her cheering on Canada for Bronze as we have family there lol

And another gold.....
Thought they were going to lap the USA team lol
did you see the lightweight womens skulls this morning, they won, stopped, looked round, suddenly realised they won & then cried like babies from that moment on, thru the interviews, and medal ceremony...i hope the poor girls have stopped crying by now

I'm loving the olympics, and I don't like sport much normally. It such a positive event, with people from all over the world who dedicate their lives to try and be the best, even if they don't win a medal its inspirational stuff. I'll be sad when its all over.
i was discussing the end of the games with some friends earlier & we'd love to see the positivity keep going as long as possible, and hopefully the olympic legacy people have got some tricks up their sleeves to keep people fired up.

I hope it will inspire a lot of kids to get out from behind their TV and games console and get into Sport. It annoys me to see kids sat inside all the time and not going out even when the sun is shining. When I was a kid I was outside as much as I could come rain or shine.
It'll inspire a bunch of lard **** fatties to get on bikes.... It's got me thinking about getting a bike again, not a racer but a lazy xc lol

Or lazy parents, because its just easier to plonk them down and leave em too it.
hmmm... overprotective parents & me don't get on.......
i had some stupid cow drop her daughter off for a birthday party and she announced that we would have to lock our dog up somewhere so that she didn't bite her daughter, and i said, well, she's never bitten anyone before, in the 9 years we've had her, and she's not getting locked up. the woman was just getting into a right strop when her daughter hugged my dog & called her by her name, (she'd been told it at school), so i stood there grinning saying '2hrs then'
What made me happy today was driving a non smokey nova haha,
All be it was only up the 1/4 mile a few times :)

same really against the olympics but now im glued haha come on team gb
the press have had to eat the humble pie, cos in spite of all the problems with G4S(which i blame on lower managers telling their bosses it was fine, when it wasn't, and a couple of lost keys at wembley (big whoopedy effing doo) the games are incredible!!!! there have been no security issues, cos there isn't a terrorist mad enough to upset 60000000 mad for it british fans

Thats cos his is slow looooooool
I too was amused by the same thing Graeme was lol
you lot put big engines in to help with acceleration, but once up to speed, its all about not slowing down..
i have never lifted off in a corner, cos thats when accidents happen....
Getting treated well by my employers whilst away on training, 4 nights in the doubletree hilton ta very muchly. Leagues away from the travelodge we used to get with vw, where the bars on the windows were to stop the locals getting in lol

Managing, with very little effort, to get the apprentice to go to the shop next door, and ask for
"tartan paint, elbow grease, Fallopian tubing, sky hooks, a long stand, glass hammer and a left handed screwdriver."
Even better there were customers in the shop who seemed to know what was going on :)

Prepare for boredom I hate pay testing :( still waiting on my 2391 results :(
Whats making me happy is it ls not only payday tomorrow its only bloody Friday tomo :)
A few people failed the course I was on, I thought there was a lot to learn, I won't be testing full time so hopefully won't be that boring
i keep getting cold called by idiots trying to sell me pat testing. they always ask me to tell them the label info off the plug of an appliance, so i say 'will the switchboard be ok, as thats the only thing plugged in??' they always say yes.....so i unplug the phones......lol lol

hopefully we shall draw a line under comments like this, i don't mind that some people find gallows humour funny, but the people who send the 'joke' texts on are just mugs... nobody ever questions where they come from, they just send them on.. i nelieve the mobile phone companies pay someone to create them... bad taste jokes about news events make millions of texts....

We usally use Pizza Hut delivery as they are much much quicker than Dominos. I go on Moneysavingexpert.com and get the latest 2 for 1 vouchers etc to use and order online, much easier and cheaper.
