Need a new headlight as this one has no clips on hence I got it for free. Will do for this week. Not sure what to do with bumper as managed to pop the dent out with help from a heat gun so looks like it would paint up ok. Bumpers are ridiculously expensive second hand.

for the first time in my life i have two company's that want me to work for them!!

got marsons that want me to be a bailiff and npower who want me to do my old job as a meter fitter for them, torn between them and dont really know what to do tbh, normally i just take the first job on offer, as i cant be picky having no real formal qualifications, so its left me at a bit of a lose end really very strange feeling lol

whats the worse thats going to happen if someone hits me i will hit them back lol, i really want to try it out just to put my hands to something new, as i still dont think ive found a job i want to do for years and years

i like dealing with customers but dont want to do anything to retail based, ive applied for some car sales jobs but heared nothing, I'm just wondering if my ideas of metering are tainted by the way i was treated at British Gas :/

is it really bad that im 25 next week and still not found what i want to do?

Mike
29-01-13, 09:21 PM
22.5k aint nowt to be sniffed at TBF.

Still about £1500ish a month take home. And I doubt youd get that as a landscape gardener in this climate :/

mowgli

they just changed the laws governing debt collection.. its more difficult to get the money.

there are 2 sorts of debt

managed & not a chance in hell of getting the money...

our groundwork part of the business is busy, but we did cut the staff back over the last couple of years..

but we don't do very much domestic these days

i just need to get my head around that 22k is properly more then i would earn in any other field! and more then people i know that sat all there exams and went to uni, i dont see myself ever becoming a manager for one of these big companys as i cant brown nose people, if im asked for my opnion i will give it to people straight and thats were my downfall working for other people is i cant lie lol

My best mate is a bailiff. He earns £30-£35k a year. However he has the temperament for it! Hours are crap too, people treat you like scum and are trying to provoke you the whole time.

From what you have said TJ on this topic and previously you don't!!! No offence meant just my opinion, I wouldn't last a week either lol!

You have to go to court and ask for a licence, if you have any drug or violence convictions your almost certainly won't get one. If you hit somebody just once your licence will be revoked.

Take the job with npower!

or

Got home from work (my early finish today) got all the broken vents swapped in the van, changed the passenger window winder, and fitted my sony (bluetooth ftw, can use all the tunes on my phone now) and also pulled the cover off the nova, jump started it from the van and left it running for an hour, and since the roads had dried up a touch, i couldnt resist taking it for a quick blast, god ive missed that car :d

Yeah it's not got leather, but the drivers bolster has a tear in it do I'll be looking for a nice interior to put in it :D it has a TC button on the dash tho , just below the ashtray, it's got everything else like air con and cruise con. It's completely standard bar a full milltek exhaust.
