Another one for Adrian flux here.......... They tried to make cancelling our mini policy more expensive than actually continuing with amendments for our new car. However still managed to quote substantially more than everyone else! After sitting down and working out some figures we found their figures to be completely wrong so called back and got the cancellation dramatically reduced. Definitely one to watch! One less policy with flux for us. I'm hoping I can find nova insurance with someone else this year as I'm sick of them.

I use RH insurance and they are spot on so far and so easy to deal with. They have given me an agreed valuation with no issue but I am not sure if they do major mods/engine change cover. They were recommended to me by Royston.

My ears are pissing me off again. Up until last year I had never had any trouble with them, had a build up of wax though. Most likely from using cotton buds/ear plugs etc.
Docs dont like to syringe, 'irrigate' them for people anymore either. It got to the stage where it was making me feel ill, nauseous etc, so I got a proper syrings that doesn't direct water onto the ear drum diectly and done it myself. I felt 80% better, but now I am back to feeling crap again.

I think its a load of fukkiing shoite about SIR Jimmy Saville, the guy was awesome, gave everything to others all his life, ran marathons for charity at ages where others would be wearing their slippers in a rest home, gave half his earnings all his life to those less fortunate, to charities, made countless childrens dreams come true on his show, and this is the way people repay him!!

Fcuking disgusting if you ask me!

Stuart
21-10-12, 12:43 AM
Ok he might have been a bit keen, but chances are people have seen the probate documents and can smell money based on old information. If he was a nonce then it should have been dealt with when he was alive. IMHO it's just a 15 mins of fame and money gabbing and rekindling of "fame" for has been celebs.

Money and faces on tv thats all it is, sickening when you think of how selfless he was, and if he was such a horrible barsteward, why did everyone wait 20-30-40+ years, and until he was dead and couldnt defend himself, before coming forward??

There was a lot of information regarding this when he was still alive that was swept under the rug, and plenty of accusation. Rumour leads you to believe that Saville knew some very powerful people, and was not a man to be messed with.

We're all allowed to have our on opinion on this.

mk1nova_rich
21-10-12, 08:47 AM
He was a out and out weirdo, a LOT has been swept under the carpet during his career and even his charity work has often been exaggerated. BUT I do believe that this should have been dealt with while he was alive, and the only reason people are popping up with claims now is for money.

Never use cotton buds in your ear, it pushes more wax further IN your ear than you get out.

Go to the Doctors and insist they syringe them. Alot safer than syringing them yourself.

Feeling nauseous is generally from inner ear infections.
Iv had trouble with mine all my life, nowt can be done that doesnt risk further damage now as they should have been grommeted years ago.

Fcuking disgusting if you ask me!
Yeah, what he was alleged to have done is also.
Scotland Yard would not be involved if it was a couple of Kyle rejects after some money for some mcat and beers.
Iv heard alot as hes unfortunately buried here in scarboro and his alleged wrongdoings have caused untold misery and upset for the families of folk buried in the same cemetry as him in town.
Theres too many people coming forward with information, lets not forget, most of these allegations are from the 70's and 80's where things like that werent really heard of back then, plus he was a big person in britain and cos of all the charty work he did,the alleged victims probably thought they wouldnt be believed.
Also,i read somewhere there was allegations that were never followed up or any charges brought.
Either way it wants sorting, round here they had named fukking streets after the clown, thats all been changed, plus a plaque removed and headstone taken away.
No smoke without fire,as they say...........

re mr saville. there is some amazing bandwagoning going on.

i never understood what his talents were.. and i really am amazed that so many media people had evidence against him going back decades, but it was patchy at best, and their lawyers advised them not to print it.

the 60's & 70's were different times, and attitudes were massively different, in some ways, they were outwardly much more innocent.. media was more local than now & people in different areas simply never heard the same stories, and multiple crimes went unnoticed because they happened in different places..

i like to remind people about oscar wilde.. he was a great playwright, author & wit. and also jailed for shagging young boys... but history seems to brush over that fact..

Had a Group-on voucher for a 50 lap karting race for £25, £35 for a Sunday race. Went there with 3 of my family and had a great battle against my brother, which had me overtake him on the last corner of the last lap.
But cos it was a group-on voucher, the karting company couldn't give a sh*t. They messed up the data so that we didnt get final positions, lap times, etc and rushed you out the door without so much of a 'well done' handshake or hint of a trophy. They even didn't start the race in a fair manner, they had a rolling start with the karts spread out over the whole length of the track, so that the guys at the back never had a chance of catching the guys at the front.

Shouldn't complain to much, I did win! But I'd of been mega pi$$ed off if I'd have been at the back to start with.

Cleared out the garage I share with a mate, and I took some **** to the tip, mostly in black rubble sacks. I also had stuff I want to keep in a black rubble sack...

I was halfway home when I realised. The friendly skip rat raked through the thankfully almost still empty skip and we got the bag back out. Didn't get all of its contents though, as some had spilled out.

It contained a Forge B.O.V, new Bosch 02 sensor, OBDII code reader, LED Bluepoint inspection lamp, two uber lumens LED torches, a fair few other small and valuable items, and the service parts for my Mondeo.

Got it all back, except the 5L of oil. The damned pointy pikey stick couldn't hook it.

Go on then, I'll bite.

We're now even for when 'hard man' Tiote got Sess sent off at the council ground last year for feigning facial injury from a light tap to the chest.

Even though Tiotes tackle was a red card all day...

It is spelled 'mackem' you would (should) know this if you were actually from the area instead of some post '92 Kevin Keegan Sky boy armchair fan with no affiliation to club or area whatsoever.

As for the scorers. We would possibly have equalised, we deserved a point anyway. Remember this, we have one game in hand over NUFC, and should we win it then we will be above them in the table.

This is from a disappointing start to the season also. So, as usual **** only knows what these barcode mongs are prattling on about. '#Foreverinourshadow' the like to say.

I say, we have the record derby result of 1-9, not only a massive **** kicking for the scum, but still the largest away victory ever recorded in the top flight.
We have won the league more times than NUFC, making us the 6th most successful club in the country.
We were the last to win a major trophy.

None of it is anything to shout about, but the way the mags, and wannabe clingons ^ attempt to brag without having anything to back it up beggars belief.

Now you mention the Intertoto certificate that you were awarded for winning (the one even Stephen Taylor looked gutted to be holding) and I tell you that we turned down the chance to appear in the Intertoto TWICE.

It's for Mickey Mouse clubs.

Such a petty club, from the circus that run it, down to the 'fans' that latch on to every wrongful move the place makes.

As you know, SAFC are known as the Black Cats. NUFC insisted that the Puma cat on their strips not be in the trademark black. Hence why it looks as though Tiote has bird sh!t on his shoulder.

Nope. I think we got a well deserved point. Only NUFC mugs seem.to think they have a divine right to win our fixtures. As for relegation, bet you dont even know which club suffered the idignity of being relegated with the most expensive squad ever assembled in the PL...

Seriously mate, anything you say on this subject is invalid, as it has nothing to do with you. Like I say, follow your local club ffs. Ask Andy, he knows the score.

As do most Sunderland fans. We have had the rough times and still turn up in droves. Your little blip with nothing in comparison, yet it is still compared.

Slag our attendances off and compare them to NUFCs, but their average crowd before 1992 was something like 13K. Less than Sunderlands. Guess where the vast majority of the new blood came from.

I fcuking hate turn coat fans. Theres loads of them around here, in County Durham/Sunderland. Traditionally a red and white stronghold - each and every one of them a cling on fool that knows fuxk all about following the right team - like you.

I'll always support them, back in the early/mid 90's in east yorkshire everybody had leeds shirts on,then Faustino Asprilla (when he could be bothered) scored some good goals, and in THAT year (l0l) everyone was into newcastle before dwindling back into Man utd and liverpewl shirts again after they failed.I have always stayed with Hull.

I have nowt against proper fans. We have some good banter! With other mates in the past though it did sometimes get a bit heated on the build up to a derby.

For the most part though, I just have a laugh about it all. Even now I am laughing. Mostly at Edd tbf.

That Tiote is just another in a long line of low talent cheats that NUFC employ. They like to mention the one liability we have, in Clattermile. I could go on and on about their ways. Guess they have forgotten Joey Barton already!

Chieck Tiote is so hard though. Yeah, that'll be why he went down like he was shot in the face last season after a backhander to the chest from Sess. I reckon yesterdays referee knew exactly what kind of clown he was dealing with.

Full of fanny yet you clocked the DJ. Nice work

You can clout a footy and finger a clout you know. The two go together quite nicely.
Just ask the vast majority of men, anywhere.

Ive got a mate that always says about how i bang on about cars to much, but then goes on rants about blokes running around in shorts

if you like football and are passionate about all the power to you but i ****ing hate watching it and will rarely find my self in the pub when its on, what i hate with a passion the stupid cunts that sit there shouting and screaming at the TV like a retard who caught a glim's of its self in the mirror

Liking football is not gay. I would expect better than homophobic hatred from a person who supposedly represents this site in a good light, and asks others to do the same.

More neg rep coming my way I should imagine.

Anyway, if it's Edds high horse it is no doubt striped black and white. In which case, I would definitley not be on it. lol

The place I work is closing down at the end of the month,FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, plenty of jobs on the job centre website but none of them are suitable for me (either aint got the qualifications/tickets or its temp work) so I've got a week and a bit to find a job.

Any good job searching sites except total jobs and the job centre website?

Another offshore helicopter had to emergency ditch in the north sea the other day.

Good news is nobody was hurt. Bad news is theyve grounded all the flights and i cant get home tomorrow. looks like sat at the earliest. Could be much longer. Not good when youve done two weeks of 12hr night shifts.

Thats the fourth super puma 225 helicopter to go down in the last year. Eurocopter seriously suck.

Can't get a roller bearing for my starter motor, as apparently the shaft has worn down too far and the bearing IS would now need to be between sizes.
