Try setting the resistance higher and get some speed up - I find them a lot harder to use if there's little/no resistance as you spend most of your effort trying to balance on it. Once you have some momentum going they're good

Putting the Nova back into storage after I washed it, detailed sprayed etc. wiping down the drivers door and realised the door had started to bubble and just thought id take a look at the other door and the same is happening to it.. As people know I've only got the car back about 2 months from getting a respray and both doors have bubbled at the bottom. My spray guy did fix this at the beginning and said to me it will come back in a few years time but not this soon..

Anyone any solutions to this and how I can go about fixing it for good and preferably not buying new doors..

Thanks

No but I was good mates with a lad at college who had Type 1 and he really struggled at times with it. Its a bit sickening most of the focus with diabetes is on fat unhealthy people with poor diets who have Type 2

It's such a ball ache having to try and control it.. My mrs finds it hard to cope with my mood swings and grumpiness which is a struggle to avoid if your having a hard days work, miss an injection or ate to much crap.. I was diagnosed at the age of 12 and till this day I still haven't got mine stable.. Think it's all down to my diet control which I don't have.. I work in a cafe 6 days a week and each of them days I will have a fry which we all know contains lots of grease etc so that of course doesn't help trying to stabilise the blood sugars..

They were due to deliver my new mobile phone between 5pm and 8pm yesterday evening.

I was at home throughout those hours, but they sent me a text to say that they tried to deliver but no-one was home. They also claimed to have left a 'calling card'. Obviously they didn't, as I was at home and no-one called.

So I re-arranged the delivery for tonight, and blow me down if they didn't pull the exact same stunt again.

I now have no choice but to go to their depot and 'resolve' things.

And I had to pay extra for this evening delivery 'service'!

My f**king piece of f**king sh*t Nova keeps f**king shutting off.

So there I was this morning, on my way to my mate's house to pick him up to attend a meeting at school, and when I was almost to his house, my car shut off twice.

On the way to school, it was an absolute f**king nightmare. Every possible worst place to stop, my car stopped. TEN F**KING TIMES. IN LESS THAN 10 F**KING KILOMETERS.

So, then I got to school. I managed to park my car just as it stopped the last time. Attended the meeting and everything. After it was done, my friend's mate came and told me he knows a mechanic near by. The car just drove spiffingly again. Got to his garage and left him the car. He changed all the pipes and the filter and gave the tank a cleaning.

Fine, I paid him the money, went to my house with my friend so I could pay him back, and took him home. The car drove just great. I left his house, and halfway to my house, the car stopped twice. Again.

Parked my car, rang the guy up and he came with his tow truck. I popped the hood, and I noticed air near the Bosch plumb thing where the diesel filter attaches to.

He then asked me if I've changed the fuel tank cap lately and I said yes. He told me that might be the problem due to suction, so I took it off and drove home without it. I managed to get home without it stalling, but just as I got to the end of my street, the car almost shut off and almost shut off again when I parked it.

I don't know what to do. He said maybe the fuel gauge might not be reading correctly, but I know there's diesel in it. How the hell could I possibly use 20 Euro's worth of diesel (about 18L) when I drove it a maximum of 30KM total since I topped it off?

I don't know what to f**king do.

He said it could be a dirty pump, so sometime this week or next, I'll drive it to a place and see.

If anyone has suggestions, just tell me. I've just about f**king had it with today.

Well over 2 weeks ago my desktop PC decided to freeze. Hard disk failure. Couldn't recover it so was looking at a potential data loss. No - the idiot that is me had not made a backup. Went to my local computer repair shop and dropped off the deceased hard disk. Got a call 3 days later saying my data was recovered. Great.

So bought a new 2 TB hard disk and brought that over so they could transfer data onto it. Said they were unable to do it on the spot (too busy or something) so they'd call me when it was sorted. Waited a week - nothing. So I called them, got an answering machine. Left a message. Few days passed, nothing. Checked their website to find they are closed for funking holidays until the 6th of October.

Meaning they well knew they'd go on bloody holidays when I handed over the new hard disk, but couldn't be arsed to inform me about it. Or even go the extra mile to dump my data on the new hard disk that very day. Totally not impressed with them.

I bought an olympic 100kg dumbbell set a few years ago and quite recently got an olympic bar for £40 off eBay. There's a local place I got my plates from was like £25 for 25kg tri grip plates. All I need is a bench and a squat rack and I can do everything at home. I mostly got the stuff for doing deadlifts at home as the bars are always being used in the gym.

I was rushing about thought I could get it back on the road really quick had two hoses left to attach that looked identical and could have gone to either port. Couldn't see one of them was clearly a coolant run off because the lower part of the inlet obscured it.

I did wonder why a breather hose had clamp marks on it when attaching it but just brushed it off thought it might have been a replaced hose in the past or something

For those complaining about the gym being busy, I currently use two gyms (sort of, finish work too late most the time atm to use local gym) but the strength and conditioning gym I use is serious members only (seeing as its £77.50 a month but I pay £80 a month as a client for programmed sessions) gonna start using it full time next year for £77.50 and still on a program.

It's not cheap but its worth it, program is done to my ability but changed every week to make it harder and the people that run it have/and still do spend a fortune on their own education to make sure they know everything worth knowing. Wish I'd started using this gym from the beginning!

Now iirc. The Rock said he's never taken anything since his early wrestling days.
Which if true i give him even more credit for, as for Pain&Gain he was massive.
He's my hero too tbh. lives clean, works bloody hard and is huge. 4am hours worth of cardio everyday... I can barely do 30mins in the evening as it bores me so much.
Then he does a 2hours worth of weights... Never seems to stop.

03-11-15, 05:31 PM
Roids don't necessarily get you big i mean they do help a little for size on their own but they mostly just aid muscle recovery times. You could be on them and not increase in size if you just continued the same routine you had been doing. For instance if you were doing 3 sessions a week N/A with a days rest in between you would find you could probably do 6 days a week with say only a rest on sundays while boosted. Which in turn will give you great results in terms of building power and mass.

wwmnw

Some competitions are tested some aren't you can choose what you want to do but once you're in the untested ones I don't think people every go into the tested ones, it is easy to see who is on them as its nigh on impossible to get as ripped as them guys without using steroids they have muscles on show you don't even know exist!

True roids alone don't get you big you have to train else you'll just get fat and retain water but eating is the most important part, if you wanna build muscle you have to fuel the body on roids on natural I've spoken to many people who consume 3000+ calories a day. Obviously to strip fat you need to take in less calories, I aim for 2200.

I also use protein and creatine, creatine can make you retain water but in the muscles, so gives you a bulky look, its also used as energy I cant remember the full answer but basically when the body works out you use up energy stores, creatine adds extra to them stores to make for a better work out. Cant say I've noticed the difference and I don't load or cycle when using it just 5g a day every day.

It [creatine] can cause increased water retention, but this should be in the muscle cells. So the result is fuller looking muscles, which is a good thing, right. The problems might arise if you're not as lean as you'd like. Then the extra water retention doesn't quite look as good. So it's mistaken for general 'bloating.'

Creatine read up http://www.jissn.com/content/10/1/36

It's practically clear, blobby and runny with hints of green so it didn't show it's true colour until about 4-5 coats anyway. Not to worry I can flat back the arch lip, it's only a Honda Jazz. Surprised you can tell the colour difference actually.

Jack
04-11-15, 05:09 PM
What are you talking about, that's a perfect colour. It's the rest of the car that's wrong, clearly lol

I used to find Halfords in-store paint mixers pretty good here, they had two Bleu Ciel's listed and I always went with the one that had more white in it, matched up well. The quality of the paint wasn't so good though - Paints4u was better but the colour tended to be a bit darker. Probably more the correct colour and my paint was just faded though tbh lol

^ I finally bought a squat rack today so I'll just need to go to my garage now. Nothing worse than having to wait for people to get off equipment at the gym.

I enjoy my job, despite the long hours but the pettyness of managers has got to the point where next year I'm getting my truck licence and gonna drive trucks. May go back into delivering beer when I get my class 1 licence.

Any little mistakes are picked up on and made out to be END OV TEH WURLDZ, I.E i dropped a plastic cask into a cellar not long ago and it cracked somehow so was unusable and I had to tip the £90 worth of beer away (9 gallon cask, 72 pints) told head brewer what happened only to get the reply 'What I think happened is...' and proceeded to tell me what he thinks happened, even though he was the other side of the Tyne tunnel in an office, he then told me not to argue with him (telling him he was wrong and what actually happened) as he's been doing this 14 years (was 11 last time I asked, last year) so obviously knows better.

In actual fact he's been a BREWER for over 10 years not a drayman, and after speaking to a drayman from another local brewery he told me plastic casks break all the time and coincidentally the lad in the pub we were at handed him a broken one back lol

Edit: He also told me from now on I have to rope casks into all cellars if they're vertical drops or slide type gantrys. Err yeah how am I going to get my rope back if the pub is closed and its a vertical drop, some drops are over 10 ft.

My friends constantly blabbering about a giant gay/homosexual group event thing where in the end they all have to grease themselves up with lube and Vaseline and wear condoms and have a giant orgy they wanted to attend.

Whoops, autocorrect. Meant to say Hondafest.

There are mats in the cellars, this pub has a new one but its springy so the cask rolled off, a lot of pubs don't bother buying new ones and all that's left of the mats is bits of 10 year old foam

Bathfart.... there are ways and means to rig a rope to lower a keg into a cellar and retrieve the rope.... the odd slip knot will do it. Not that I'm agreeing with your manager.

*cough CASK cough* if you land it at the right angle a flick of the wrists will get the hook off the handle but with the plastic casks they are thicker so the hook can hold in place kinda digging into the plastic, with the steels it can jam at an angle that needs a hammer to get it out, but yeah there are ways and means but to be honest if its a 10ft+ drop I don't fancy chucking about half my body weight down a hole on the off chance I might slip and follow it in. Your wisdom is always appreciated though mate!

Over last weekend was my 39th birthday and me and the missus had planned a long weekend in Edinburgh to catch up with family.
Id been suffering with toothache on the Thursday before going up and though nothing of it really, went out on the Friday night as you do and had all sly meal and plenty of beers and a few shorts (also plenty of paracetamol).

Next day I got up feeling okay and had breakfast, got to lunch time and felt terrible so got some dental gel for my tooth that did feck all so decided a trip to a&he was the best bet as I was in agony. Got to a&me to be told they don't do dental things and gave me the nhs number so rang it, now bearing in mind we'd planned a night out for ten of us for a meal out I though an appointment would be fine was a good thing.... Until the direct just guys told me they could get me an appointment for 8.10pm mmmmmmmm tonight's turning out to be not happening I reckoned.

anyway I went to the dental place in Edinburgh and filled forms out and was called in... 10 minutes later I was told I needed 2 teeth removing.... Shit :(

So yes im still in pain even now and at the time i was in bed at 9.30 and wasn't going out for my birthday:cry:
