You can get red coloured bulbs, i bought two off ebay for ?3 for my clear fog lamp.

ok.. im on holiday till sunday morning.. then monday morning i get stuck in

1. take the doors off.. smooth out all the dents and cut the rust away and plate it up.. and then spray both doors lower section ** the part with the lock an handle before the grooved crease

2. take the electric window switches out and smooth over the button holes and spray black.. as im fed up with switches it looks gay

3. fit the new alarm ive got for free off my dad.. might get an electrition to do that

4. new bonnet to be sprayed white.. aswell as 2 new wings i might get

5. put my 45 tyres on ive got coming soon

6. fit my front window frames

7. fit digi dash if i have the money

8. take it to a location and get some really good photos of it.. off the yard lol.. so ill break the law abit

Yeah, I've got the black surround part that they sit in, but no switches. Would save me having to bodge in some aftermarket switches. The loom I can make up myself so thats not too much of a problem :D

Just put a red bulb in the right hand reverse lense, so it still works as a fog light.

No point putting a clear bulb in both just to have two reverse lights, i assumed you just wanted twin reverse for the look of the lights, not the function. You would have to cut and splice the reverse light wire across the other side of the car to do that....

Twin reverse is easy with a Haynes, but as I've always said just stick an LED in there. Thats what I intend to do.

well this weekend and some of next week i will be mounting the foglight under the bumper.. its going next to the towing eye and will be a snug fit.. might look ok

well today i got my 195 45 r15 tyres... and 3 free tsw alpine!!

graham set off today and dropped them off for me.. and he said i could keep the tsw's, so ive got 3 tsw's now.. so im after a 4th so i can use them as a spare set lol

TSW ALPINES ARE 1 OF MY FAVOURITE RIMS OF ALL TIME

i'd a set on my 4 dr nova saloon at the time..

but you cant get them in the right offset for a hatchback once you go above 15 inch apparently

for the next few months the car wont be getting worked on as its undergoing dvla checks.. nothing to worry about atall.. ive actually asked for them lol

basically when the car was sold to me i found out it had a scrap marker onit (hopeing to god it isnt a destruction one and only a scrap one).. anyway these can be taken off if the car undergoes a vin check.. just to check that this is the car with the original chassis number etc.

what has happened is the car was once a cat c right off beyong vehicles value.. so the v5 was destroyed and it shouldnt have as it was then sold at auction. this emaning its down as scrapped but no v5 had been issued.. if you apply for a v5 then it gets checked out etc etc and when it comes back as clear (it will as its all genuine) dvla will give me a logbook in my name.

anyways sent the v5 app form to dvla this morning so sit back and wait now :thumb:

raymond came over to mine this weekend and dropped off some bits, a grey fusebox cover a bettery tray plastic base and a plastic gsi gearstick cover thing lol. all fitted now anyways

also i might have a full grey gsi kit coming soon along with a new bonnet and 2 mint white doors.

yeah they did but one of the filters is fuked and has a huge whole in it so it now shines a very pale pink.. so no good plus they had the really crap bright filters so they looked poo

anyway my mistrals are back with the new tyres on..when i bought my tyres the 2 fronts were illegal and needed replacing. so a trip to the scrappers found 2 nearly new 195 45's for free. so they got sent off to be fitted and came back today. so now 4 fully legal tyres all for ?50. nice :thumb:
