I really would love a nice big shiny roll cab like those. Bit silly though as they are probably worth about 10x the value of my tools! lol
Thing is with snap on boxes if you look after them they hold their money

I was toying with the idea of selling it, havnt decided yet though.
Was probably a bit silly of me buying it all my tools can fit in the top chest lol lol

To right they do, I wanted one but opted out of paying silly money & got a couple of Beta cabs at work. Cost me a farking fortune still mind.
Will happily pay top dollar for Beta & Dotco air tools, but not for the frikking tool boxs

Five brand new 185/55R15V Goodyear Eagle F1's :)
Been discontinued and been watching and waiting for the price to drop on them from our tyre supplier. They were over £70 each plus vat, then they dropped to £50 and then finally £46 plus vat. They sold 60 quite quickly and they only had seven left so ordered five fast. They retail at over £96 each on Mytyres so got a bargain for the Spider :)

I know, I noticed that after I had uploaded picture here. I have contacted the bloke who made them and he is sending me the ones for 12months on. So it should read 31/08/84. He thought I might like a set with 83 on to show the age of the car. (He hasn't charge me for it either) although I will add extra on to final balance as he's been a top bloke

Don't worry, any you send my way will be returned,... rapidly from my hail fire.
Not fully in the post, but im needed new speakers for the Nova, got bored of looking online.. I just wanted to hear them to make sure they sounded good.
Popped in to Halfords, found some, not the right size. So went to one closer to home.. Got the right size.. So i'll have them, door speakers and 6x9.
Door ones are £39.99, with 30% off, Nice.
6x9 are £59.99 with 30% off, Nice.
Get to the till, very pretty, very very hunger blonde girl, scans them thru and the rears don't show as having 30%off, so i ask and she says she'll add it. Hits the total and i then see it take the 30% off... Then she takes off another 30% off both. So 60% off... I couldn't pay any faster.
6x9 can out as £23.96... Door ones where £15.99.

Yeah, I have a profile for a C16XE head that I got a 37% increase in flow from, I don't have access to a flowbench at the moment so I'm gonna start with that and see how it sells, if there's people that want to give proper money for a well ported head I'll look into building and calibrating a flow bench so I can do other heads.

Cheers :thumb: engine runs sweet as a nut, can't hear anything from it. But once the clutch is sorted ill be giving it a good service. And some performance tweaks in the future.
Have you seen the price of back boxes tho! Bloody hell!! I may as well get a custom one made it'll be cheaper!
I'd just recreate a superflow bench, been inside one and they're not that complex really... kind of flowrates I'd need are a bit above the average henry specs too! I got close to maxing out the superflow at 10 inches of water and that has 2 hoover motors without all the gubbings/dust bags etc on it.
My new AA membership card with an added pube caught under the laminate

id have to send that back.it would do my head in.
Most of my cars end up with the laminate lifting, due to using them to pick at things, so it wouldn't last long underneath. lol

according to the vizard articles (somewhere on the interweb) its all down to measured holes in a sheet of perspex.he was working on chevy v8 engines so the flow rates would be sizeable!!! maybe the yanks have bigger hoovers too lol lol lol

You only test one port at a time and an old chevy V8 won't flow much at all per port... after all some of the older V8's only make about 25bhp per port/cylinder! Even the latest 4v/cyl supercharged LS engines only make just over 100bhp/litre at 6.2l (80bhp per cyl) which is within the flow rates of the smallest SF benches assuming they're charged at more than about 3-4psi. I came close to maxing out the SF flow bench I used to use at about 65bhp/port.
Also it depends what pressure drop you test at, industry standard is normally 10 inches H20, but the bigger tuners that can afford benches that take up a room (thinking specifically Cosworth here) have capability to flow 1000bhp at 28 inches and test entire intake systems.

Stumbled on a bit of a bargain as it looks like the dealer must have ordered it incorrectly years ago.
A clear rear screen with no heating elements which is NLS even at OCP. Thought I would eventually fit it to the Swing along with the opening rear quarter windows and get it to hot country spec.
Got the glass for £19.20 and delivered to one of our dealers local to them and then it was transferred to me on our internal dealer transfer van for free :) saved me a trip to N.Yorks.

Yeah, gotta have a good route through stuff to find what you want.
I missed some stuff and saw other people that had some nice goodies.
Headlights were silly cheap. So was the wiring loom for a fiver! Probably couldnt even make one for that price. I couldnt get my money out quick enough :)
I did as you know i'll happily dig thru boxes... Still found almost nothing.
nice lot of parts there richard

The company I got it from don't really like selling them. They normally supply them only on the engines they build, I just caught them on a good day.
It took nearly 3 weeks to arrive though, Every day since ordering it I have came home disappointed, until today :)
