Yeah for the BMW, E46 M3. They will be stripped and powder coated to match the Brembo 4 pots going on the rear. DS2500 pads in the front, probably standard Porsche Textar pads in the rear.

Thats probably because mine was a quick pic with the plastic cover on the phone, it reflects back in the shot and blurs it, so the flash is off, that and the dim ambient light in our front room, and the fact that it dimmed down from having the light of my laptop screen in front of it :p
Not saying theyre the best camera in the world (iPhone 4) but you do get good shots from them, ill see if i can put my hands on a better quality pic to show reference lol

I did a back to back comparison with an i-fruit 5 and an S3. I took several pictures in different light, with & without flash, close up and distant. The S3 won hands down, so did the screen quality on the S3. I zoomed in on the photos and the i-fruit was a lot grainier.
I was not biased to either phone, I just wanted to the better quality one(I dont just mean a bit of fancy metal strip around the outside). The S3 came up tops with me. The lass at works i-fruit I borrowed is considering changing to an S3 already as she is disappointed with her 5 lol

you can get all of that gear from your local truck spares place.. extinguisher, remote cable, pipe & fittings & i'd imagine at a reasonable discount too... i'd be fascinated to see the cost of this kit.

SPA Design make these Spud. Only up the road from me (Tamworth), I turned down a job there not so long ago as they have a composite business aswell.
Phone them up directly & buy one over the counter direct, much cheaper then buying from anywhere else.
Mike, the basic Lifeline kit with 2 nozzles is about £160ish new. The electronic ones with a carbon tank are upwards of £1500 lol
£160ish.....? ffs i'm in the wrong business....
£160ish.....? ffs i'm in the wrong business....
Yep. Thats for a 2 & qaurter litre tank. 5ltr systems are over £200 quid.
£40++ a refil. Ive set many an electrical one off in my time installing them in rally cars lol lol
8valve-craig
14-12-12, 07:09 PM
I bought it out of a rally car which was being broken, Unused, but not new.
I suppose its technically new though, as its been inspected and the pressure is in the green. Came with pull cord, piping, 2 nozzles, handbook and 2.25l
£60 delivered.
Thats a bargain, ive got a flame beater but i do want a proper extinguisher setup, as it might only be a road car, but its got a massive engine (in comparison to the 1200 carb it did have) shoe-horned in, and the wiring has been played with to make it all work, so imo, an extinguisher is as much of a necessity as a decent alarm/immobiliser/security device!

The last time i drove my nova (retro rides @ prescott) i had a big scare on the way home where i could smell fire.
Never pulled over so fast in my life, and admittedly did have a handheld, but if i had this installed it would have been deployed in an instant.
Turns out there were no flames, must have been a tyre on a bonfire or something. Cant be too carefull though, Especially on open twin 45's.

Dont know how magnesium work, but a alloy would be written off..

If you picked them up and either hit yourself in the face with it or went "fook me that's light" they're MG, otherwise chances are they're alloy.

Nice one, considered doing brown flock on the Swing. Was it originally a brown dash? If so what is the colour match like?

Fancy having just the dash top done to finish on the line above the glovebox, radio, instrument cluster & headlight switch panel
So found a place on Ebay that does proper fit pillar pods, for gauges. So first i bought a mk1 one in error. But now got a mk2 one...

I received my c16xe silicone top hose for the Nova from Roose Motorsport. If anyone is looking for single hoses then I would recommend speaking to Paul at Roose. I also bought a bottom hose fom them last week and the delivery is very quick and they are great to speak to.
