Looking fantastic Ste! Can't wait to see this finished.
ste, would it be worth putting in some links between either side of the tunnel, i know it might be a pain to get a prop in & out, but i think it would help massively with torsional rigidity.
autoworksnovasport
10-12-11, 09:08 PM
theres already some there mowgli one at the back of the tunnel and the engine mount at the front
i saw that, but i still thought a couple of tubes in the middle would make it a lot stronger.

Ste noticed the other day that you said your moving units, what ever happened to this project
Bazza on here is currently doing a 4x4 with the cally turbo setup so I thought this project would be a good read for him.
Hope you're keeping well Ste ;)

it will its just my life has gone through so many changes and had so much going on its just been shoved in the corner and shelved. i got a nova turbo in for a rebuild at the min and its made me nostalgic so as soon as thats gone and my cav t back on the road im going to dust this off and crack on

To see a build through to the end is more of a challenge than it initially seems as we all find out.
Great to see the nova flame still burning in the background - I am sure we will see some updates in the near future!

You must have removed photos to another folder which may have broken the links?

Were you using imageshack? As a while ago they limited the amount of space a free account could hold and meant anything over that was lost, so I opened up a photobucket account too.

Photobucket mate but got a feeling the ones that have vanished were hosted on fb

Anyone know if this ever got done?
I’m curious anyway, but selfishly I recall selling Steve a very wide set of bodywork (about 15 years ago I’d guess!) which might well be of interest to me if it happened to be available ;)

This bodykit.
If anyone is in contact with Steve Porter still, I'd be interested to know what he's done with the kit and/or moulds. Thanks.

It needs to be to cover the rear tyres on mine.
The rear arches on Jezz's kit (see photo link below) are at least an inch or two short of enclosing the tyre.

I hear ya. I?m doing my best to avoid making final decisions on wheel & tyre choice so I can delay arch design & build decisions!

Do you know what sort of track width you'll have front and rear? Obviously depends a bit on wheel/tyre choice I realise!
What is your preferred style of bodywork? Something off the shelf, or are you thinking custom made?
