I understand that I would prob need shorter rear springs though
Gonna be close to the bonnet, couldn't run a strut brace, would mean the lower arm is always angled upwards ect. Lowering springs and shocks (not Coilovers) are surprising forgiving anyway, better with slightly chunky tyres
I measured the space and it is a little over two inches between bonnet and turret. Just for arguments sake say it was just a 25mm change on the turret......
Sounds like a lot of work to me will look like a botch not very strong and gain 25 mm bonkers just get good suspension
burgo and his brother have just done this to there mk3 astra estate... seems to work well!
I know people in the past have been known to mount the stub axle further up the rear axle in order to get the back end lower, but to go to those lengths on the front end just seems daft....
there was an army green nova a good few years back that had spaced turrets..
