Got my xj6 moved to a garage with a roofso after it sat for 3 years it started up 1st time and I'm in the process of getting it to mot standard so I can put the plate on retention
Im well aware it is.And how important it is.
However, its cock waving byople boasing about what they lift in the pub or on the internet etc. Most posers will add weights and then check to see if anyones looking, they will probs do 3/4 rep sets with said weight, then get off, appear to be gasping for air, stop, look to see if anyones watching and then tense in the mirror.
****ing w4nkers.
I have seen that in various gyms across different areas.
I have seen lads get to gym,do 3 sets of bench press on a Friday night as im leaving, then get ready for a night out in changing rooms so they look pumped.
Pathetic
And dumbbell presses are much better as it takes more to hold the form, thus it being more effective. But then you don't look as good doing them as the dumbells aren't usually in the "big man area"

So your saying I'm cock waving because I posted that I was happy i set a new record yesterday? That's certainly the impression I'm getting and it's not the case.
No,im on about the ones who type sh1te like "smashed the gym today, benched 500key" etc
Its not a "record" either, its a personal best.

The ones who ya see sat on their phones there in particular.
No doubt updating their facebooks![]()
Nothing worse then waiting for a piece of equipment and some prick is on their phone does my head in, or when someone finishes their set and slams the weights on the floor that's my pet hate![]()
Yep,same as the ones who leave them on the floor all over the place.
Brilliant at my old gym before, one of the trainers-"hey,big man,you did well lifting that, wanna show me the lift again? only this time put it back on the rack eh?"
