The red knobs look bloody great, if you have the sporty mk2 steering wheel I would get the red ring done to, they just pop out!

I'd get a nice plate welded on that exhaust I went though two of them on my nova before realising the 4-2-1 was the way to go,

I ran the nova low mind,

Everyone has commented on the red knobs, you saw it here first . All I can take the credit for is the idea, Prey/Allan is the one that done all the work!

I'm on the lookout for a 4-2-1, I only bought it because it was going cheap. So I shall be selling this one when I find a 4-2-1 or swap.

Right, the time finally came today to get the engine out and then drop it off at the bodyshop.

Started at around 11:30 and by 11:35 it started pissing down! But a couple of hours later the engine was out and it was being loaded on the trailer ready to be taken down to get the engine bay painted. I've also got an early tailgate with smoothed lock being painted as well as a Trooper vent and the roll cage. Will be going down tomorrow to start prepping the bay...

On the trailer ready to go...

At the bodyshop, all snuggled up in the warm.

    More updates tomorrow...

    Cheers Connor.

Yes Southie, the engine bays being painted but me and Rob (the painter) thought that it may look good a light anthracite colour instead of red?

The flocked bits looks loads better in person, the finish and detail is perfect. I'm in the process of getting Prey to do something a little differant...

Just got back from prepping the bay, I will upload pictures in a bit.

Hmm tricky one, I think it would suit your car though. Flocked bits look nice.

I think it will tie in well with track look with the cage, buckets etc. Plus, if I ever wanted to repaint the car another colour I can just leave the bay.

Anyway, some pictures of todays antics:
