Default Jimbos Finally Got a Project!

Right as of today i have my project nova.

its a J plate, 1.2, 4 speed Spin. in miami Blue.

The shell is clean enough for me (wanted one with some welding so i can practice).

Not so sure on whats going to be the final outcome of this yet cause it all depends on what funds i can get my hands on to but im hoping for a C16XE, stripped out with 2 buckets, Cage, poly windows and possibly Fibreglass Panals.

i know im making it mk1 sr / gte rep. will be getting a personal b plate reg for my birthday in july.

Bearing in mind its going to be a daily driver / Track Slag.

Heres a couple pics of how it stands now.

    Another one

Stripped the front end to check for rust.

    Boot floor Mint.

    Little rust on back panal.

Worst of the rust Nearside Chassis Leg

Battery Tray is also Spotless Just dirty.

i also need a Drivers Door.

I cant work on this until i have cleaned the garage out, cause the parents dont want the front of the house looking like a scrap yard so as soon as i get into the garage i will be starting this.

Big thanks to BIGS for offering my this after it was offered to him.

    Regards Jimbo

doesnt look to bad mate, chassis rail should clean up with a good grind and plenty rust killer! headlamp area looks good too. the worst place i find is around the front footwell/wheel arch area near the throttle cable hole....

Wonder whats hiding under the battery!

    good luck mate, plenty pics....

Colours faded badly, when you get a new door and get it sprayed it will look very odd with one freshly painted door and rest of car faded.
