    because it perishes and water will eventually penetrate it (not as good adhesion as proper stuff). It contaminates anything near it and if you try and paint anything it goes all scabby.

    I've got so p1ssed off with my shower leaking in my new house and ruining the roof below I removed the "silicone" sh1te and injected expanding foam into the gaps then seamed it with boat building sealer - like sikaflex but much better!
