I'm properly hating my S6... the fingerprint scanner is unrelible as heck, so much so that I've disabled it :
She gets rather hot when fast charging but hey what can you expect when pushing a full charge in in under an hour.
samsung overlay is slowwwww so slow
Still, iphones arent much better . Cant win.

I'm a HTC fan boy i'll admit. I love my/the M8. Till the Marshmallow update... It's been a nightmare since.
Apps wont open,
It wouldn't log in to my Google account, even tho it was logged in before,
It then deleted my Google account Cause it wouldn't log in,
Over a week and about 100 tries i finally got it sorted and logged back in.
Then it wouldn't update any apps, so they still crashed.
Then i fixed that and updated everything..
Txt tone is now linked to the ring tone volume... Which is either to loud or to quiet.
They've remove spell check from the txt message.
They've stopped the battery gauge going yellow then red then black and red..

Upside,
It's faster to do things/multi things.
The setting bar at the top now shows blue when on.

I've only had HTC phones now for about the last six years I also have the m8 and I'm due an upgrade next this month, guess what I'll be getting another HTC, as I've never had a single problem with them.

It could be... I know functionality is in and out all the sodding time, USB conenction to the car works one version and the next update it stops, then works on the next
