Due to the classifications, I couldn't find any other way except the "one off car build" that you can legally get a car on the road. Mine would have got a new ID as well.

If I remember correctly it was even very difficult to get it out of the class that something like a Caparo T1 (limited run manufacturer builds) would go through which includes emissions etc.
Ignorance is the best defence. Don't say anything and I would bet the MoT centre doesn't have an issue.

That's some weight saving Bazz, I hope it all pans out for you on this build, it's going to be one expensive nova though when it's finished but my words it will be worth the hard work

Not sure how much will actually be saved yet as the new panels have to be welded in etc but I'll be making a few changes with the boot floor etc, yeah I think it's going to cost quite a bit by the time it's finished but I think it will be worth it too

It's not that bad and you got the whole front new anyway just standard nova spots I'd be happy taking that on seeing you have the pannels and the rear legs just need plates doing tidy and will be fine

boot floor has holes in it etc think I'm cutting out the wheel well as well. Chassis legs aren't that great. Hoping to have it done by the end of 2015.
