my family have gone off the the harvest festival this morning...
now, we are pretty skint, cos due to 2 knee replacements, my mrs has not been working for most of the last 18 months.. yet we are meant to take food stuffs to give to the church.. they then give it to the food bank they run, who then give it to the poor of the town!!!!!! I live in Hinckley, its a town with a lot of employment, and in the local area, there are always temporary warehouse type jobs, so unemployment is really low, so that only the professional unemployed actually are out of work.... so our food goes to people who are so poor that they can only afford a 60" tv & are limited to 1 pack of fags a day..
now I know there are some old people who are finding it hard, but the types of food we get asked to give are hardly the sort of things these people will eat.. they are mostly pasta, sweetcorn, rice etc.
so just are there really any people in this sceptred isle that really are both meant to be here & poor enough to actually need the services of a food bank?????
Been on a wasted journey today for a load of cav bits that weren't right or weren't even there
Haven't spent the last three weeks cleaning up my mk1 golf can, including getting rid of all rust before I sell it, some tos$er at work did this at work today and I park in front of them every day. Tomorrow they are getting a talking to.
Sky broadband/phone, misarranged dates, engineers not turning up, engineers refusing to enter the house with a responsible adult other than the homeowner after confirmed it would be fine and general incompetence mean it's now almost 4 MONTHS since I moved in/called them that I've been trying to set up a service! It's cost me near enough £100 already in premium phone lines, time off work and lost fees from trying various companies only to come back to Sky because of limited options!

Only phone/broadband and I'd go with Virgin if I could, talk talk can't put an order through as it's a new build and they have no way of inputting an address manually...
Every phone company I've come across is as incompetent as the next, to be fair it's split 50/50 between sky fcuk ups and BT just not turning up/being tossers.
bt are useless.
but theyre the best of an extremely bad bunch
