Sure will. It has more wear on cog 2 than any others, I presume as it was used in an oval racer, but Il stick with it for a little while.

Top bombing Craig engine looks great.... Bet it's going to be lively with that spec too!
nick.
The six speed dog cluster won't fit that engine without going wide arch.
Oh I can see why that might be an issue actually. I was thinking along the lines of Lee's arrangement, but keep forgetting that's smallblock.
Il see how my syncro's cope to start with, they may be just fine for what I'm using it for, but if not will reconsider.
Engine porn!!
12.06 is higher CR than mine (11.75), and cams are different.
Be interested to see the figures when she's running. I am getting mapped in the next few weeks...
Il have a nose through in a sec, from what I can remember ours are pretty similar. I always said i'd be happy regardless of the numbers, just so long as its a good strong engine which is relatively reliable and pulls well, so we will just have to see.
Did a bit more this week, not a lot though
First up were these little mounts, 22mm x 2mm tube, with a riv-nutted washer welded on top.
To hold this.
Then positioned and fixed the Surge tank. Got very lucky with this, It was a used ebay find, and as luck would have it all of the outlets are pointing exactly where I want them.
Then the battery holder. Went for a Varley Red-Top 25, but with a powervamp cage.
All nice and straight
Got the M8 pedal box mountings drilled, then drilled the footplate. Temporarily riveted it in place with just two nearest the pedal's, as they pass through angle as opposed to box, so when I drill them off I can retrieve the ends. The rear-most mountings will be riv-nutted, as if I ever need to remove it the old rivets will rattle around inside the box section and drive me crazy.
Measured up for the pull cord and will be hanging it from the gear selector tower, so can run it down the tunnel.
Also had this lot delivered
Still chipping away at it a few evenings a week. Managed to get the tunnel plated, and covered up all the unwanted holes in the bulkhead, so not far off prepping for paint now.
