I know the wheels on ATM make it stand out but with the 175/50 tyres with 6J I have no confidence to drive to hard

Plus the camber shims on the rear make the rear feel very un nova like so it's all got to go

Zero point in sacrificing handling for looks IMO

You'd never make it in the 'dub scene' LOLz

My mate Mark dropped my new wheels of today

They are Ronal R8's, 14", 6J, ET 45, originally fitted to Audi 80 quattro

He had them 20 years so he's pleased to see the live on

Going to get them blasted and powdercoated grey to match the bumpers

Will look good I reckon, haven't seen a Nova on them before either

Oooooooooooooo now i like them! So glad you haven't just picked some boring rims everyone else has. Get it done.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

I was always under the impression the Audi 80's were all 4x108. They will look good though once fitted. Is there a reason for going for the smaller battery or just neatness? You coming to Retro Rides gathering?

Battery is mainly to free up space so I can eventually do the corsa b servo conversion

I'm sadly not going to Retro Rides, working that day, hopefully make some shows next year

What amp size battery did you go for?

Liking the wheels. Very nice, and as Benn says not the usual ones!!
1.6 16v's are the way forward!

Dry cell battery, loved the varly one I used to have on my old track car, there awesome, in the entire time I own the car due to it being isolated I never hat to charge it once! Pays for its self in the long run, best thing you will own.
