So where did i get too? Oh yeah.

Light filling work on the join.



Then had to move the car to the paint shop.. Was an interesting drive i tell you, no glass, no number plates, alot of dust blown in to my eyes.. Very bad traffic.



Bumped in to this one there...



In and sanded and masked for for primer..



In primer,





Then the car was sanded off, remasked to be painted. The bodyshop needed a hand, so i lent one to help them out and get the car done.. 7hours later we were on to mine. A few bits where missed, so these had to be sorted, finally ready.



Keith found there wasn't alot of paint... So the car was based up in a Rover blue...



Time to lay the Arden blue on.... 1 coat and he's run out. By this point my anger was a hulk level... With it in base i find a few more bits i didn't like..
So monday morning, i made a few calls and get 1lt of arden blue speeding it's way to me. It's in the bodyshop by 10am.

Bit's re done.





As there was more paint, took my brand new bonnet in too.. (few tiny repairs done)

On with the lacquer, asked for a heavier final coat so i can flat and polish it right back.

Car home... Yay!



So Keith told me before the car when to the paint shop " the boy has hoovered the car out for you" sweet i thought, one less job...



Oh....





Guess the boy didn't turn the hoover on...
After an hour of me doing it..



Painted inner pillars and bits..



First job was to fill everywhere that had been ground off,welded and such with a wax sealant. I use the Comma "waxseal" stuff. Very good, has rust inhibitors and stuff. Two cans later... Spray it till it run out the bottom.



Repainted scuttle.



Gun finished roof..





On to today, been on it since i get home at 5pm, till 9ish..

Ah a fav job.... Anger level 4.



Level 6.



Level 8.



Level 10.
Few ripples, but all going away slowly, have no sound deadering on the roof at the mo, so will be doing it after, hoping it will take some of the slack out of it too..

Glass all back in (thanks dad) pillar trims back on. Dash going back on.
