Just about surviving an 18km (about 11 miles for those who can't cope) bike ride with some mates for the first time. Been doit 8km rides on my own to try and get fitter but today's effort including hills really woke me up as to how unfit I am nearly passed out/puked half way round.

i have..but its a happy traffic jam... i also saw a real comedy car crash there a couple of years ago.. i was heading onto it from the A1 and it had been snowing quite a bit & some tit in a bmw decided to pass me & everyone else to get onto the main carriageway, and under power he hit a load of packed snow, spun round several times & ended up parked against the central barrier, facing the wrong way.....with a wheel hanging off....

The almost passing out/being sick is great isn't it. :/
Or knowing that your next gulp of much needed water is going to hurt!
