A couple of days later I got my harnesses fitted. I shall be getting a rear strut brace welded in and the harnesses mounted on that so they are just mounted to the rear seat belt mounts for now.

That's all of the updates up until last week.

Everything was working great with the car but there was still a slight problem with the engine that was there since it was put in. Whenever you revved it hard it would hesitate and would also hesitate in 2nd gear at around 2,500RPM. After changing the coolant temperature sensor, checking the timing and replacing the coil the problem was still there. Running out of ideas we checked the fuel filter and it was full of ****. After temporarily cleaning it out we put it back in and now it works perfectly without any hesitation atoll!

Also, on Monday I had to get recovered from work as the starter motor had given up! So off I went to the local scrap yard to find one. It was a very tight fit but we got it fitted and now the car runs perfect!

Lastly, I've put a thread in general chat about me and the Nova being in a TV show called Big Bad World. I received the phone call Wednesday asking if I could do filming Thursday and I said yes that's fine. But actually at that point the Nova was nowhere near ready as the starter motor was off the car and the hesitation was still there! But we managed to get everything sorted and even managed to get the Nova cleaned ready for it's TV debut.

And here are a couple of pictures of it just before we started filming.

Cheers mate. We did have a ramp we could have used but it was easier to put it in from the top as it wasn't really that tight and only took 10 minutes or so.

Not an update but I decided I would fit my Comps that I bought the other month. I got one fitted and instantly removed it and put them up for sale as they do not suit the car one bit. I'm currently on the lookout for some Comp TH's or OZ rally wheels.

I really like this, I think the engine looks clean and not to ott and the dash looks perfect! I would probably add a pin strip or do the splitters grey just to break it up but its still a very nice looking car imo!

I just think they look too big and not dark enough. I think they really suit Mk2's but not so Mk1's...

It is a Mk2 Jokes ! I think they would suit it fine if they were darker.. maybe it's because your used to black ones? get what suits you though!
