The water would of diluted the flux making a **** soldered joint. Compression is your friend
not really the water was stopped dry it off (old skool bit of bread up the pipe to stop the drips of water) clean it up and have at it

Easy as feckJust dont use anything coarser than 120grit.
I got it in the end, the problem was reaching the tapes in some areas and I got sick of the paper clogging so used 80Easy as feck
