    Two mate, on that section anyway. Definitley needs one in the centre. I tore the centre heat shield off last weekend, as the standing water had pulled it right down, and as I now realise the reason it was down in the first place was because the exhaust had been resting on it.

    Is a Corsa the same?

    They are good cars, but have their share of stupid faults.

    yer if i remember right mate, seems stupid but i bet saving that 3rd hanager and rubber, on a whole fleet of cars saves thousands and thousands of pounds

    /\ ford is legendary for knowing the value of a quid & the price of a part... they did component lifing long before everyone else did..

    they famously worked out that the original mini was being sold at a loss & told bmc(or whoever they were at the time).. it took them 20 years to admit it..
    they infamously had the pinto...70's american car..... that had its fuel tank in behind its rear bumper, and worked out it was cheaper to pay for a few dozen burns claims than it was to re-engineer the car...they got caught out with that one...

    Component engineering FTW, most OEM's can make a part fail at exactly the end of warranty :D its a skill.

    i find that most vehicles have certain items that fail in 3 year cycles...cars, bikes & hgv's.

    Contractors have turned up today to harvest the maize at work, would love a job like that just makes me want to get away from the farm even more!
