getting a sinking feeling at the Pitt of my stomach looking at these parts, wish i had taken the engine apart my self that way i might have half a clue of how to put it back together

getting a full working built up engine this Saturday for the handsome price of 270 quid

so the one in pieces will be fully rebuilt over the up coming year

new rings and bearings etc
ARP bolts thru out
re hone block
re grind crank
balance bottom end
port and polished head
288* cams and adjustable pulleys
motorbike carbs
lightweight flywheel (rolling road tuned)
f16 c/r gearbox (uprated clutch)

hopefully that should see something near 180 hp and from what Ive read that makes a very very fast nova

i done some painting and rust removal again today

servo had some surface rust on it



wire wheeled and rust treatment stuff doing its job



dried off and ready for some paint



bought this as i was sick of getting finger cramp



primer



painted, I'm happy with how it turned out



also these bad boys arrived today

so thats some more odds and ends tied up

Ah the old familiar overspray on the arm scenario . Been there many many times ! It's coming on really well!

I usually spray my fingers and it looks like nail varnish

i carried on spraying the end of my trigger finger when doing the engine bay , was getting serious cramp in it aswell, the kind of feeling you get when you write stuff down for to long


i cant wait for everything to be all clean and painted ready for assembly, never worked on a clean car before normally contending with rusty bolts and years and years of grime and nastiness
