Is its a pattern cable Spud ?I gots a spare speedo cable in the posts today and my new nob from Scott (ooh err)
On a side note, has anyone else come across having to grease/lube up a new speedo cable before fitting, i bought one from work on friday and fitted it right away and there is a horrible grinding noise from/behind the clocks, id already ordered the ebay one aswell and ive been told to either lub my current one, or lube the new one and keep the other as a spare!
Ive never used a new cable before now so ive not encountered this before, is it normal as a few peeps in garages have said they think it sounds right but not anything 100%!
As I have a grinding/clicking noise coming from mine which is pattern, black one off ebay
Thinking of fitting a old genuine one
