Looks spot on Edd. I'm torn on the stickers, I think it looks perfect as it stands, but what's a pov spec 1.3 with stickers without the stickers? Glad I don't have to decide if their going on or not.

At the risk of filling your thread with discussion about lowering, I was thinking only a small amount lower like this to reduce the arch gap, not rim-on-arch stylee. (Open both pics in different tabs and flick between them to gauge how much!)

I love it Edd, but the offset of the wheels annoys me just a little, from a 3/4 angle it looks a little "balanced" on the wheels rather than sitting on them.

    Stickers needed too IMO.

    Great car

That's more like the level I would go for, cheers for doing the shop

Although the one Southie did does look awesome, I bet that low the ride will be crap

I also think the tyre profile might not be helping

Cheers Si, thanks very much. I see what your saying I really like the wheels, something different, hopefully when its a bit lower it will look better

Picked up a few bargains for the car this week

Brand new lock set, it is for a early saloon, im confident that I can adapte the boot lock to work with a hatch boot latch

Pretty good for £23.50 delivered seeing as had no chance of finding a new set for a early hatchback im happy

Got this as well, Toad immobiliser, new for £19.99 in Halfords sale bin needed one fitted for insurance, but I hate wiring

Won't have time for it to be 100% finished before Billing as don't have time or cash to get the paint work or decals fitted

    Edd

Will you need immobilisor fitted by a Thatcham Approved fitter to be insurance approved?

Dunno, probably it has the certificate in the box tho and wiring instructions

Could get it done in town but Im not keen on someone chopping away without my supervision

Fit it yourself and get a fitter to inspect it and sign it off
