    Default New track car.

    new r/c track car.
This is the class im racing in for the indoor season this year.
The season starts in october so getting the new car ready.
It's a class for out the box racing so no real sort of speed but down to driving more than anything.
Should be a laugh as they run no diff/gearbox.Just direct drive to the wheel.
In the rules you can only fit your own radio gear but you have to use the speedo that comes with the car.

I've just fitted a diff to my Mardave, and i really can't believe the difference it has made, its taken it from un-predictable around corners to 'planted' as it were. A completely different car!

Looks like Dar Vader is driving it.

I was watching some rc racing on tv this morning. Bonkers speed and skill in driving them.

Indeed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KINWmGubaI8 2.55 for my favourite ever overtake Had the pleasure of racing at a meeting with Neil Cragg once and the guys skills are just beyond alien. Watched him through practice into his first heat, he span off every single corner for the entirety of practice, left me a bit Then he absolutely caned it round the first heat, then I realised, he was finding the grip limits on all the corners in practice Only he starts from above the maximum down, rather than safe up like most people would.
