would the cable shift work on an f20 box if you were to change the turret on top of the box?
Don't know if the turret top on a big block is the same as a small block, if it is, yes, if not you need to adapt it from an F23 or similar at a guess but I'm not 100%
Turrets won't fit and you'd need to ally weld brackets etc for the cables, so very unlikely

Humm, see i dont think that the one on my MK4 Astra is as quick or smooth to engage like the rod types Ive had on the nova's..

That's the old (first) generation...Not like the one I have.
is the finish date close now mark?
Right, got the correct bracket for the gearbox, so connected it up and hey presto, 5 forward speeds and 1 reverse...easy.

Sooooo much easier lining your gears up now Mark, bye bye drill bit in the gearbox for lining up now lol
Yep..lol
You know it's good when you can use it on the floor...Try changing gear with the standard setup off the car..not going to happen. lol

Why??
Oh well, it's gone and I'll have an easier life because of it.
Who bought it?
Will they be finishing it off? Or just selling the parts off?
A friend.
Yes, it'll be finished.
