Erm depends on what you class as 'Gold'. There are a few colours which are gold i.e Tranckdaynova has a champagne gold which is like a silvery gold IIRC. Mine seems to be the only White Gold E421 around. Which makes her special :) :cool:

Cheers Vaughan, such a shame those seats weren't Recaro. Got some leather buckets going in so will probably re-finish the rear bench in the same colour, black & grey. But the door cards and everything else will stay as it is.

Dash is actually black in that pic, door cards are original dark brown and they are staying. The buckets are black & grey so would have to match the rear bench but nothing else is going to change. I have refinished the headlining to faux suede black.

My car was sat outside for a very long time (mum stopped using it for a good 5 years before I got hold of it) The dash had faded on top where it faced the sun compared to the rest of the dash, couldn't find a suitable matt brown so I sprayed it matt black.

Totally transformed the interior made it look much beter then faded brown.

Quite right mate, I'll need to see how the dash and rest of the interior in the Sport cleans up...

The top of the back seats look a wee bit faded but that's all part of the originality :thumb:

Faded seat aren't too bad, my rear seats have some slight fade on them but the dash just looked tacky unfortunately.

I removed it all so that i could clean behind there :thumb:

They slide up the chassis legs, there's alot of movement in there so you have to line them up.. Head lights don't have to come off to unbolt the bar, just the grille.

Looks like windows are out but apertures are masked off to prevent overspray. I think he did not want to remove the bump strip for fear of it bending the metal strip out of shape.
Looks too yellow for Jamaica yellow to me, its usually a lot less in yer face than that.

Rear windows are out, the fronts have the bottom of the frames removed, didn't take the front/rear screens out,nor the front side one's as we simply ran out of time (and my budget was not to completely re spray the car at first!) bump strip's left on as we both decided after seeing how the small parts of wings/rear quarters curved up that it was better to create a slight gap round them for the paint to go behind then remove totally, as i say it was never meant to go this far, was just meant to be sort out and spray the side's, but then we realised how badly faded the paint on the roof was etc, so hole car got a respray, and it IS Jamaica yellow, just all pics were with flash off as the one's with it on come out white, or cream looking...

it was painted with poundland rattle cans in the car park at the side of my flat i used to be blue and gray and black and rust so i went got a few cans and blasted over it to make it look half decent

a mate of mine had it a while, he was forever putting engines in it, they never lasted him long (heavy right foot) always blamed the car but not his own handy hand and driving style, so it was up for sale without an engine so i grabbed it soon as.
found a decent bottom end and reconditioned it basically.
then spend god knows how many hours cleaning it up.
just the engine bay to clean up now
