You can stick masking tape on each side of the joint leaving enough for a bead of silicone. Then slap it on smooth off and take the tape off. Finally wet your finger and lightly run it along the bead. Job done!Originally Posted by totalnova

Exactly the way I do it
That's the way I do it but I always seem to be covered in the stuff or the masking tape isn't sticky enough and lifts off, I just hate the stuff
Some builders I know use some fairy liquid on their fingers, it is defiantly messy stuff
