F13 close-ratio gearbox

This is the one that came with the SRi engine I put in at the end of 2006. It was given a good clean and a coat of aluminium effect paint at the time, and the car was taken off the road last september due to terminal rust. I only took it out of the car a few weeks ago, and have just given it another wash down today.

It has a 3.94:1 final drive fitted, which with 15" wheels gave just 1000rpm in 5th at 40 mph, 1500 in 4th.






I'm looking for offers around £75 for this one, If you want to know the numbers of teeth on the cogs then buy it and take a look, I will not be opening it up to find out. The box is in Hull, and will need to be collected, or for £20 I can meet up to 75 miles from Hull/halfway, whichever is closer.

If not sold by sunday 18/5/08 it will be put on e-bay.

out of interest how do u know its got a final drive of 3.94:1???

Because its stamped on the box in that first pic?

Yep ^^, along with the fact it comfortably did 30mph at 1000rpm in 5th.

i asked because the only markings i can make out are 23822 or soemthing like that...

The C3.94 comes after that, but the alloy has corroded a bit over the years and my phone doesn't do close-up shots with enough detail to show it.
