Bit of an update:

Cut up a new 5dr tank ready for the side exit exhaust. Welded in some 1mm sheet and gave it an etch prime and paint


Gota bargin lightweight XE flywheel off the bay. Swapped the ring gear from the old pot flywheel then bolted up with some new bolts.



Got a technicluch paddle clutch bolted in, although no camera that night..
Gave the manifold/turbo a bit of heat wrap... Bit of a fiddle that..


Back onto the shell, and gave it another bit of paint



Also gave the boot another go over and bay and underside.

Managed to finally get the engine and box in..... filled the chassis legs with waxoyl before getting it in there..

Made up a mount for the corsa power column


....and started getting the wiring in


shifter in


Lights loom re-covered and extended to run in the inner wings



Carpet and rear seats next. I retained the saloon frame bits from the back of the old seats, and attached the, to the cally foam/leather



golf filler neck in with cap fitted

carb throttle mech with bracket - to kepp it nice and tidy.



bits for the rear beam i shall b finishing off this w/e hopefully.

Thats about it at the mo. Just cracking on to get it sorted for pv...
