RJ im not quite sure where you coming from if it asks you to pay to download from its site then surly im doing nothing wrong am i i mean what i download goes str8 to my files and is for personal use (paid for)?Originally Posted by Razorjack
Rapidshare is a file hosting site, content is uploaded by individual users - think of it like photobucket, but for all types of files. Don't think of it like iTunes, where apple has distribution rights to the hosted music.
You pay to download without bandwidth restriction, not to download copyrighted material. I'm 100% sure it will say in their Terms of Service when uploading a file that copyrighted material is not allowed (unless the uploader is the copyright holder, or has permission from them).

I have a very ummm 'wide' music taste. Al Green and Louie Armstrong have made an apperance recently A cross section of my normal music would read as follows:
Artic Monkeys, Feeder, Cream, Creedence Clearwater, Electrasy, Faithless, Hell is for Heroes, Herbaliser, Jamiroquai, Leftfield, Rae & Christian, RJD2, The Subways.
Quite on odd sort
Used to be a massive rap/hip hop fan back in the day, snoop, 2pac, dre etc..
But gone off that now as the industry is all messed up, anything by muse, travis, zeppelin, bob marley, and early green day are amongst my favourites. I can't stand the majority of cheesy dance/ trance music but the prodigy is all being played when im out driving.
Also my brothers band, The Aquataine Progression and my favourite local band Aliquot Flow
Evil Nine are awesome!
I'll listen to most things, ranging from Zep to Does It Offend You Yeah? only really missing out chart drivel and R&B (The Who style excepted). Vitalic is well worth catching live.
Got some strange gigs coming up, Laura Marling, Kimya Dawson, Get Cape..., Holloways & Spiritualized.
Should be a good run.
Drum & Bass is my main genre just now. I was majorly into rap & hip-hop some years ago & I only really appreciate the decent gangsta stuff rfrom mid nineties & what they still put out now, DRE, dogg pound, snoop, Jay-Z, biggie etc.
As for Drum & Bass the scene is huge just now. Artists like sub focus, brookes bros, logisics etc are producing such amazing tracks.
I'm really into Girls Aloud and Pussy Cat Dolls.
into them or up them?
