Plus anyone with half an ounce of brain will know that someone trying to palm off a 100bhp 1.2 that isnt revving to 9K is a lying cnut

the 1.2/1.4 was (when i did it many years ago) the only way to get a 1.4 that would fit my motor. I used a 1.3 bottom end that needed reconditioning (?10). a crank grind & rebore didn't cost much, the pistons were machined for a few beers. the rest of the bits were simply off the shelf standard bits & I put it together in my bedroom the total cost was less than ?200, for a 30hp increase. ok it was 1990 but stuff is not much more expensive, & compared to a straight rebuild, it would still put only ?30-?40 on the bill.

PS. the bit about the punches & the grinder was written using Microsoft Irony 2.1,

or just pump the tyres up to like 60 psi

The guy doing the rolling road should check tyre pressure an set them all the same really.

However just fit some nitrous, even if it doesnt give you any more bhp it will still be a laugh.

I always do the tyres, you'll know if they are pumped up to a million psi anyway with how it feels.

If I fitted it without the intension of blowing it up in the first place it might have stood a chance, but it was doomed from the start . Actually take that back, the engine might take it but after a 50bhp shot down the road the clutch ate itself.
