    Default CP's Trackday 1.6 on TB's re-build

This thread originally started with pictures showing the demise of my 1.4 on TB's which have been removed from the hosting service. Sorry about that

Its now been tidied up and starts with deciding what to do with the old engine and then the re-build process to change the suspension, make additions to the cage and fit a new 1.6 on TB's a few pages in

Pass. Not sure until I've found out what the problem is. TBH I've always found the power good enough for most circumstances so if i can sort it without having to spend massive money I will do.

I've got some plans for the suspension at the front which i think is currently the weak link in the laptimes and not the engine.

Probably worth fitting a 1600, depending on the damage.
And everything will easily swap over.

Liking the modded exhaust manifold, looks as good as a "proper" jobbie and worthwile considering 16v performance manifolds are usually twice the price of equivalent 8v ones.
