Default lotus carlton powered nova, rumour? true?

heard a story that once upon a time there was a little wide arched nova (street racing in notts/brumingham) powered by a lotus carlton engine, just wondering if anyone can back this story up and/or if anyone has any pics?

I think it would have to be a big wide arched Nova to fit a C36GET and gearbox (which is the same as a Chevrolet Corvette C4 iirc). Whoever told you that - punch them next time you see them, then punch yourself for falling for it.
