It looks like a custom made skin for the front most part of the bonnet, I guess you'd have to make one yourself.
Ive seen them on lupo gtis maybe i could adapt 1
ive seem on golfs aswell
Its a car bra.. there are sellers of them.. im actually after one my self for the saloon. If i find one ill let you know, if you do do the same to me please.

yes they protect the bonnet from stone chips etc work quite well i have been told
hard to get for a nova, try ebay germany.
for lupo/golf there made by a compagnie, for a nova it's mostly custom ones.
