Quickest way and easiest is probably a new digi-dash with transducer. I don't think there is any way of telling the different types of digi dash apart, but I would assume they work off the principle of recieving either 1 pulse per revolution of the transducer, 2 pulses, 3 pulses etc. But applying a signal and working out the correct part number from it isn't really worth bothering with unless youv'e got a particular desire to keep the digi - dash youv'e got. When I change the colours in mine I will try and see if there are any optional links on the digi-dash for different transducers. I can't imagine that there are different components fitted inside them, probably just links to solder in or cut open.
