the mk3 escort shares the same kinda back window style as the nova...

They look a lot like 2dr saloons, although as much as I love the nova coup?s, I hate the look of the escorts.

id recomend the 2 litre zetec bottom end on a 1.6cvh head id i were you,ZVH conversion, i wouldnt run a 2litre zetec if your thinking of tuning it as the valves are quite restrictive, at 136bhp standard you wont get much past 200 with a lot of mods, well done for joining the ford family, really decent cars if you know what your doing and you like welding good luck with your project and i look forward to seeing your progress

well i dont fancy chucking all my money at a zvh...not on this car...
just going for a quick zetec tbh....and when i want somthing quicker il buy somthing quicker :D

me mates building a 2.1 zvh turbo to go into his rs turbo at the moment...should be around 320bhp+ when its all done.....but its costing him a fortune to do the zvh route cant wait the see the final product though

theres a guy who lives up road from me with a 2.1 zetec turbo...head has had something like 2-3k worth of work on it and everything else bar the turbo is stage3 items...blew the turbo up tho so its off the road getting a stage3 turbo.

I like it, old Fords make as much sense as old Vauxhalls in terms of cheapness to get bits for, I was looking at a Burton power catalogue and the availablitily of parts is astounding! Your Escy looks tidy, I have friends who've had these and the only problems they've had are the same as Nova ownership issues - the tin worm! Is there a Burton catalogue type thing for Vauxhalls BTW??
