    Default Nova Turbo Diesel Project

Well travelled the 220 mile round trip to pick up my new project. I intentionally picked something needing alot of work as i want a challenge.
So here it is a K Reg Nova 1.5 Turbo Diesel.

We then tried to start it but wasnt for happening but battery was flat and didnt seem to hold a charge. It was turning over but just didnt seem to have enough power to fire.

We then just pushed it onto the Trailer.

Finally got it home at 9pm and started to unload.

And here it lies in its new home for the next year.

Plans for it are to strip it down to a shell, fix all rust etc, paint the inside and the engine bay, fit rollcage, bucket seats, harnesses etc, And then a 1.7td cav engine will be going in with uprated turbo and possibly bike carbs.
With regards to exterior bodystyling it will have tints, single wiper, gsi bodykit, lowered on coilovers on anthracite speedlines with the whole car painted brocade yellow.

Yup ive been assured it can be done. Time will tell but.

Well today i cleared the inside of the car out. I found ?2.35 and a birds skeleton in the spare wheel well . Also binned the front bumper and wings as wings had slight rust on them. Back bumper will be going in the bin tomorrow when i can be bothered taking it off.

Going to take the alloys off and sell them when i get a key for the centrecaps. Gsi wheels perfect condition, no scuffs with decent tyres incase anyone is interested.

Here is my list of parts i need so if anyone has any of this list they wana sell than i would be very happy.

    Offside Rear Quarter Panel
    Nearside Rear Quarter Panel
    Offside Front Wing
    Nearside Front Wing
    GSi Front and Rear Bumpers
Tailgate with spoiler already on it preferably.

I need all parts to be 100% rust free as i want this car to be completely perfect when its finished/

hmmm petrol carbs. No need surely?

The ISUZU TDs are perfectly tuneable on there own. You dont even need the 1700 to chase good power. Ive just bought a J plate Nova TD.

1st mod has to be an intercooler, though I will service it first.

Yours probably wont start because the glow plugs have had it.
