16 is the diameter of the wheel, 6.5j is the width of the wheel itself!
depending on the offset and how low your car is, will determine how easy or difficult to fit, well ......fit without rubbing, fitting itself is easy peasey, jack car up, old wheels off, new wheels on. lower the jack. done!

cars only on about 45mm drop on avo coilovers so can adjust to suit wasn't sure about the width as most 16" wheels are 6.0 and don't know what the j ment. the arches have been roled so you think they should fit no problems??
trying to find the offset now
they should fit no problem matey! i mean my nova is lowered 60mm with 7x17" wheels, 205/40/17 tyres, archs have been flared slightly, and off set is nowhere near 49 .

They should fit if there Et45-49.
The "J" refers to the style of the lip on the rim which the tyre sits over.

it's not a pimp mobile it's my back road basher so don't want to compramise my handling. even tho would manly use my 15's just new ones for showing off!! what you think bout fitment??
ive got 16 x 6.5j wrapped in 195/45/16s and arches are rolled and got loads or room, could probably go bigger if i wanted to.. which i dont ..
p.s. Post 800.. woo hoo
will the et make much difference whats the optimum offset 49??
Correct... offset is how far your wheel sticks out.
Best to stick to 45-49 otherwise you'll eat bearings for breakfast.
