Cant go wrong with Avo's, as long as you buy them new, as used ones tend to pop seals when you start fiddling with the ride height.
thanks BT...wats the lowest that they lower by???...would it take much work to get a nova down 100mm+???..btw itll be on 15" cav GSi rims...
i use the avo's, the rear is about 1/2 way down adjustment, the fronts have a few more threads to go.............
AVO's are great but when you start getting low on the front there isn't much travel left on the shocker. A good friend of mine had some shockers made up and they are great(Single seater). If you knew the exact dimensions of what you wanted you could get them custom made. However they are alot more pricey.
thanks lads.... dan wat spec are those avos your using??? what is the max that they lower by in mm's..??? did you have to do anything to the arches or did the car lower over the GSi rims no problem??? does the front wheel catch the arch at that level or could it go down the remainder of the threads with out catching???
thanks again lads :D
for custom coilovers try GAZ as they make shorter body dampers to allow lower running.
most cars lower differently in relation to what they started at (ie my shagged 1.2 on std suspension had a lower ride height than dans bilstein -35 setup . best bet is to go for a floor to sill measurement in all honesty.
well my nova started life as a petty 1.0 pishrod if that helps ... so its kinda monster truck lookin ...
i seen a set of ones on e-bay a week or 2 ago an they were supposedly* -120mm.. i jus took them as cheap jobbies that would fall apart in no time..
Have a look at Nitron coilovers
thanks dar but by fluck those are pricey:o:o
