hi all, ive got a mk2 nova and i want to take out the ol grey carpet in it and replace it with black... just wonderd if anybody had any ideas on how to go about it?? thanx

A few options..

a) you can spray your grey carpets with cans (not great in areas with high traffic)
b) pop down your local carpet place and buy some black carpet... then its a case of laying it in a cutting it in section. Make sure its not the stuff with backing on.

i didnt no there was such a spray?! cooleo, i think that will work well because most of the floor is checker plate, its only the side bits that need to be black. thanx

Its just your bog standard halfords spray.

Its an old dodgy car selling trick when you've got a black interior and a grey parcel shelf.

I've never tried it so I dont know how well it works... plus you need to get it even. I'd test it on a small piece first. I think you just need a light misting.

If it wears off after 6 months just re-coat.
