    will a 1.4 carb with manafold fit on a 1.2 engine

    yes but i think the ports are a different shape. might be better off with 1.3 carb and manifold.

    Fit the 1.4 carb with a 1300 inlet.

    Wish id have known that earlier , i got a 1400 carb n inlet on my 1200, runs like a bag of spanners low down in the revs , i been told both 1300 carb and inlet are the perfect fit and make a noticable difference!!!

    Carb is same as 1400 item.
    So you just need a 1300 inlet.
