Default nova 1,2i vs nova gsi brakes?

After trying my best friends nova gsi, i found out that the gsi brake pedal was allot easyer to push down. My question is: are the barkes different from a nova 1,2?

sorry my english, i am from denmark

the 1.6 gsi brakes are the same style as the 1.2i ones but the disc is thicker as its vented so you can brake harder for longer etc. the servo is bigger too which would make you think the brakes are better but as you say its just easier to push down.

If i change the servo to a gsi and get some cross drilled discs on. Vil it brake better? or do i need to go the hard way and change the calipers and get som vented discs.

If you're going to the effort of changing the brake servo, why not get some calipers from a GTE 16v/Calibra 16v/Cav GSi ?

Use with 256mm std. brake discs !!!

Calipers are around ?20-?30 & bolt straight on :D

I have the std. nova gsi weels on. Wiil they work with the 256mm brakes?
But i'm not shure i can replace the brakes with the bigger once.
In denmak we have to pay taxes if we upgrate the brakes
That means i have to pay about 300 to 400 euro in taxes
