1.4sr carb fitted to a 1.2.

this is surely possible but, would i get any gains from doing it, and the same goes for the cam out of a 1.4sr.

im sure ive read in a post befor that you can do a 1.3 carb on a 1.2 but not a 1.4 but im not totaly sure

Cam out of a 1.4SR would be better than your std 1.2.
And you can fit a pierburg 2e3 off a SR, but use a 1300SR inlet so it matches your 1200 head.

It should give a nice gain if the autochoke aint playing up
You could always fit a manual choke system to it tho.
