Depends.
Most would be mk1, but i have seen a few mk2 H-reg novas.

its the cross over point. my H plate was a MK2 body with a MK1 braking setup
there will be mk1 and mk2 H-platers because that was the year vauxhall face lifted the nova
my mate has a mk1 H reg and a mk 2 H reg so i really dont knw sorry all i knw if it has 'cot' on the end its a mk1

If you're lucky you'll get a Mk1 exterior with a Mk2 interior - a mate of mine had this on his old H reg 1.2.
