    Cheers guys Yeah my teacher is really good and i'd like to think i've got a good ear too! I totally get what you mean simps, i'd done a little better when practising and got some really seamless mixes but panicked a but more when doing the cd

    recording always is a bitch! When I recorded my 1st mix it took me about 8 attempts before I was close to happy with it. I was recording the best one I'd done so far, almost perfect (for a novice), then my housemates, girlfriends parents decided to drop in to see where she'd been spending all her time. I was then politely asked by his girlfriend if I could "turn that music off, my parents won't like it" - IN MY OWN HOUSE!!! Concentration went out the window and I turned it off anyway.
