Have you got a plan as to when it will go back to a 1 litre turbo?or is it just as funds permit?
how much quicker will it be with the smaller engine?
It’s very much a question of money. I’m spending most of what I earn on house restoration right now. But it’s still my desire to go back to forced induction.
There’s no real reason why 250bhp+ can’t be achieved from a 1000cc turbo, running lots of boost for short duration sprints. It might be needed too, there’s now a 1000cc turbocharged Hillman Imp which is getting great results at various hillclimbs.
